PK-140 for Eidshaug Rederi AS ordered at Moen Slip AS

Eidshaug Rederi AS has signed a contract with Moen Slip AS for our design PK-140. Polarkonsult shall also for this project deliver an extensive design-and engineering package.

The ship will be delivered in September 2007.

New Contract  - Coastal freighter for Eidshaug Rederi AS at Moen Slip AS

Eidshaug Rederi AS has placed an order for a new coastal freighter at Moen Slip AS. The new vessel has been designed by Polarkonsult AS in close cooperation with the owner. Polarkonsult will also deliver an extensive design- and engineering package for the Yard. The ship will be equipped with side loader and pallet elevator.  The vessel is the Yards NB 64 and she will be delivered in March 2008. Main Data Length o.a. 62,00 m Length p.p. 52,10 m Beam mld. 13,80 m Depth to 1. deck mld. 9,60 m Draught mld. max 5,00 m Deadweight 1700 t Authorities and Class NMD DnV +1A1 General Cargo Carrier, ICE C, E0, Container, RM /-28gr C /20gr C   Machinery and equipment The ship will be powered by single screw propulsion with a 2000 kW main engine driving a CP propeller. Trial speed will be appr 13 knots. The ship will be equipped with side loader system, pallet elevator, deck crane and a cargo hatch of 12,60 x 8,30 m.
