Our team have developed a new 30,000 tdw tanker design. Extremely low fuel consumption and emissions compared to earlier Eco designs. Up to 25% reduction in fuel consumption has been achieved by several design features.

Our team have developed a new 30,000 tdw tanker design. Extremely low fuel consumption and emissions compared to earlier Eco designs. Up to 25% reduction in fuel consumption has been achieved by several design features.

  • Dual fuel LNG powering, HFO/LNG by choice
  • New hull design with slender fore- and aft body
  • Optimum propeller design and high lift rudder
  • Extensive waste heat systems
  • Emission controls
  • Other technical and operational measures

The new hull form and propeller design is a result of extensive design CFD studies and model tests. By these measures, fuel consumption is substantially reduced compared to traditional designs.

Technical data in brief:

  • Product/chemical tanker
  • 39,000 m3 / 30,000 tdw
  • 26 stainless steel or coated tanks

Astonishing consumption with up to 25% reduction in fuel consumption compared to other Eco designs. Similar achievements can be obtained for other chemical or product tanker designs ranging from 20,000 tdw to 50,000 tdw.
